This is me.

Dariush Shafa is a 24-year-old journalist living in Owensboro, Ky. He works for the local paper as a health reporter, enjoys taking photos as a hobby and doesn’t think there’s anything wrong with writing about ones’ self at length in the third person.

This is his cat, Cyrus. Cyrus has homicidal tendencies, or unbelievably cute, friendly tendencies. He’s a big part of the goods that will go on this site.

I’m working at my first job in a town I fell in love with as a mere intern a few years ago. This is my blog, and this is my story. Thanks for joining in on the ride.
